I have arrived

The weather is a lot nicer today then is was last year, the Anders folks have big signs outside the sportsplex and has his usual supporters out.

Rob also shook Donnas hand which was a change from last year.

Apparently to get a ballot they have to give you sicker with Anders and Harper on it so they "know how many people are voting" which to me is a bunch of BS.

...and it's also completely false.

The stickers were handed out by the pro-Anders slate (not the people running the event) as a promotional tool, the same way politicians normally hand out buttons and bumper stickers. They had absolutely nothing to with being able to vote.

I can't help but wonder whether this rumour is being spread out of malice, not ignorance...

I would simply ask if that was distinguishable. Last year the "True Blue" slate was handing out their pieces as I went through the registration process, and almost seemed "official", while the other slate was handing out in the room and outside. Maybe those seemed official to other folks because they were outside.

Sometimes clarity is difficult in tight spaces like that - not anyone's fault, but perhaps could be perceived differently from different points of view.
