I was there but do not have a blackberry. I was operating a video camera though and have posted the video where Diane said she would put the interests of the party/herself before that of the constituents. An excellent display of blunt honesty on Diane's part. I believe Jane will be posting the link shortly. :-)
It got old with Paul's "Send Ed a message," by the end of the night people groaned and moaned as he said it.
The abortion question was like WTF? It's 2009 for crying out loud! But each candidate (minus Paul) answered the question, all he said was that we should have a citizen referendum totally dodging the question. Koodos to Diane and Avalon so saying that it's between a women and her doctor.
The 8 year old kid with the pre-written question on health care was a nice touch though, I wonder how many times he said that in front of the mirror?

ReplyDeleteFirst impression: Diane's in trouble. She doesn't get where the concern about representing the voters over the PC party is coming from.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great night. Not sure there were many undecideds there, as is normal for these things.
ReplyDeleteI am still awaiting the spin from the DCU team....
